Laos and Cambodia

Day 1: Vientiane- Pakse - Tadlo
Pick up at hotel and transfer to Vientiane Airport, flight from Vientiane to Pakse, then proceed by car to visit Boloven Plateau, visit coffee and tea plantations and local villages Hmon, Khmer (Katu, Nge) then continue to Tadlo and Saravan. Overnight at Tadlo.
Day 2: Pakse
Visit local villages then return to Pakse. Proceed by traditional boat to Champassak, two hours downstream on the Mekong River, then by road to visit Pre-Angkor ruins of Wat Phou, Overnight in Pakse.
Day 3: Pakse – Khong Island
By road south to Ban Khiat Ngong. Elephant Ride for two hours to visit Phou Assa, then to Khong Island, the biggest Island on the Mekong River. Visit Temples Phou Khaokeo, Hinh Siow. Overnight at Khong Island.
Day 4: Khong – Voeunkham- Stun Treng - Kratie
Proceed by local boat down-stream to visit the 4,000 Islands on the Mekong (Suphandon) to Nakasang, then by car to visit the Mekong waterfall Khone Phapeng the “Niagara of South East Asia”. Then to Lao/Cambodia border at Voeunkham and by boat Stung Treng/Kratie to view the freshwater dolphins. Lunch provided on the boat, Arrive Kratie in late afternoon for a walking tour. Overnight in Kratie.
Day 5: Kratie - Kampong Cham - Phnom Penh
Early morning we visit the dolphins by small boat and return to catch a speedboat to Kampong Cham. We travel by boat to Kompong Cham and visit Wat Nokor, Phnom Pros and Phnom Srey before continuing to Phnom Penh by road. In the afternoon, we continue to drive to Phnom Penh. Arrival and overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 6: Phnom Penh - Siemreap
We visit the School of Fine Arts, Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda (also called the Pagoda of the Emerald Buddha), visit Wat Phnom, and Central and Russian Markets. Transfer to Airport for flight to and overnight in Siemreap,
Day 7: Siemreap
Morning visit to Angkor Wat. Afternoon visit to Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, Elephant Terrace and Terrace of Leper King. Overnight in Siemreap.Day
8: Siemreap - Departure
In the morning we travel to Phnom Krom for a cruise on the Tonle Sap, passing through floating villages. Transfer to Airport for departure.
