Booking Conditions for independent travellers:
Visas
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they have valid passports and visas for all persons in their group. Inter Lao Tourism would be pleased to assist if requested.
Inter Lao Tourism cannot accept any responsibility for any changes to visa regulations, or acceptance of visas on arrival in Laos, or renewal of visas if required.
Deposit
An advance deposit equal to 20% of the value of the booking is required to hold the booking; the balance to be paid in full at least 30 days before tour departure date.
Refund
No refund can be approved in full or in part for any services contracted for but not taken.
Cancellation
Any cancellation or amendment must be received in writing. A cancellation fee will be due from the customer to Inter Lao Tourism on the following scale:
10% of total tour cost if before 45 days of start of tour
15% of total tour cost if between 15 to 45 days
25% of total tour cost if between 7 to 15 days
50% of total tour cost if between 2 to 7 days
If less than 48 hours notice, or in the event of a no show – nil refund will apply.
Note that additional charges may apply to peak periods such as Lao New Year (in April) and Christmas/New Year.
Travel Insurance
All customers are recommended to have adequate travel insurance in place before their departure from home.
Hotels
Most hotels check-in and check-out time is 12 noon. Arrangements for late check-in or check-out can be arranged in advance if required (the hotel concerned will charge an additional fee depending on the number of hours); or mutual arrangements may be negotiated at the time between the customer and the hotel concerned.
Airport tax
There is an international airport departure tax of US$10 per person.
Responsibility
Inter Lao Tourism will use our best endeavours to cope with any changes caused by external variations to itinerary, transport, accommodation or meals so our customers are not unduly effected – unless in the event of natural disasters, accidents, political actions, circumstances beyond human control or actions by external providers.
Scheduled flights can be subject to change without notice due to airline policy or weather conditions; this may affect planned itineraries and Inter Lao Tourism will use our best endeavours to cope with the changing circumstances, but cannot be held liable in the event of any additional costs incurred by customers.
All customers accept full responsibility for their personal effects and valuables.
Payment
Our bank account information will be supplied so payment can be made.
We can also accept payment by Visa or MasterCard – subject to an additional fee of 4% of the total charged.

Please note that prices quoted may be subject to change should any provider to the selected tour raise their rates before commencement of the tour. All prices are quoted in US$ and are subject to change depending on any fluctuations in the exchange rate.

- All transfers and sightseeing by private A/C vehicle.
- Accommodation in double/twin bed share room, with breakfast.
- Meals as specified (in hotels or restaurants).
- English or French speaking guide in each city - other languages on request.
- Domestic airfares and Domestic airport taxes if stated.

Our guide will accompany groups of more than 7 pax throughout the program.
On request, we can quote a supplement for a guide for 1 - 6 pax.

Not included in the price:
- Drinks - Personal insurance and expenses - International airfares
 - Entry visa fees - Bank fees and money transfers.
